I probably shouldn't say this out loud, but my brain to mouth connection has always been broken: Those kind of look like samples from a morgue. I mean, if you don't know what it is. ;o)
Having seen plenty of mysterious parts floating in jars of formalin over my career, yeah, I did think of the same thing, too. But luckily somewhere along the way the thought got removed and put in the 'delete' file.

I'm speculating these will make a hellacious egg salad. Jalapenos, onions and all.

Morbid looking, yes, but very tasty.
On several occasions I have made egg salad with them- too bad I forgot to take some when we left your place!
You need to finish the bar in the basement so you can have a fishbowl full of these next to the tap handle.
Oh yes, they did make a most excellent egg salad.
