Most Unique? Concept at the Detroit Auto Show

...It's called "Nazgul". Personally, I think it would look better in black.
Who can translate the Hubcap o' Doom?

Yes, black would be better. It's quite slick. Who made it? And did you see any interesting fuel cell stuff? And has Volvo reissued the 1977 242DL? I still miss that car. The Beetle and the Mini were reborn, I think the super-sexy 242DL should have its chance, too.

This is not exactly the same as the beloved '77 2-door that I drove for a few years, but it's close. The round headlights are an important part of its mojo. The inline-4 engine had lost some of its former power (probably valves), but it always passed smog, and it was an overbuilt marvel of Swedish engineering. Yep, a car like that will get a man more ass than a toilet seat.

This was a student design exercise by I think someone at CCS (Center for Creative Studies).
Fuel cells- lots of stuff, mostly by GM; edging closer to reality but still very expensive. Over the next decade or so, a whole bunch of technological advances will combine to make them actually usable.
Volvo had an electric 3-seater concept with a strange-looking rear end, very unlike classic Volvos of old. I do think there's a strong market out there for simple, rugged, and reliable.
