Detroit Tigers with Uncle Ken, 6/13/04

Peanuts. And hot dogs. And pop. And cotton candy. And beer (at approximately $0.69 per ounce)...
See this? This is a golf injury. Darn cart, won't stay upright...
The Tigers lost to Florida, 9 to 2.

Ride the Dragon

Peter & Elise at the Carp Carnival (yes, the Michigan Center Carp Carnival)

The Farm

The old farm, from the Holzworth side of Ann's family, in the Stonington Peninsula of the U.P. Nothing but the sound of the crickets and the trees sighing in the wind at night. Outhouse, water dipped from a well, wild strawberries along the two-track. These are from July of '02.

This is my left eye. We're discovering that Peter's computer microscope can be lots of fun. Send money or I'll stick it up my nose.

The 87th Annual Congress of the Royal Society of Manly Men, Ann Arbor, May 2002

Portrait of Mr. Orange as a Young Lad

Note the coloration of the shorts. This is representative of the artist's "Orange Period", generally considered to be from 1972 to the present. Also, the headgear is believed to symbolize a primitive fascination on the part of the artist's father, with a rather tasteless yet widely-consumed beverage. While it certainly made for a dashing fashion statement, this "beer" as it was called was to be later replaced by far tastier beverages for both Mr. Orange and his father.

Mr. Erick & Peter
Peter and I checked out the local rc plane club last night. Great bunch of guys, they figured out why we were getting no response from the controller. Needs a little work yet, and we'll have 'er flyin'.
