Note the coloration of the shorts. This is representative of the artist's "Orange Period", generally considered to be from 1972 to the present. Also, the headgear is believed to symbolize a primitive fascination on the part of the artist's father, with a rather tasteless yet widely-consumed beverage. While it certainly made for a dashing fashion statement, this "beer" as it was called was to be later replaced by far tastier beverages for both Mr. Orange and his father.

Peter and I checked out the local rc plane club last night. Great bunch of guys, they figured out why we were getting no response from the controller. Needs a little work yet, and we'll have 'er flyin'.
