We had to let him sleep last Thursday. He's been a part of us nearly since there was an 'us'. A very sweet, loving, tolerant cat. He will be missed.

This is the camera Mom and Dad got me for my 12th birthday, that documented many a moment in college that might otherwise have been erased.
One day after it had stopped working, Dad meticulously disassembled it down to each and every piece and screw. There's a godawful number of parts in one of these things. And so I saved all 6 million pieces in a bag, until today.

Ivan

Ivan was born April 3rd. He's an interesting mix- Mom's a Siberian Husky (here we go again), as evident by the blue eyes, and Dad was believed to be, of all things, a Shar-Pei. So I guess you end up with something that sort of looks like a blue-eyed Lab.
So far Ivan has smashed our previous record for dog ownership. He's been with us over 48 hours, well above 26 hours for Jenna. He's learning quickly where and where not to relieve himself, and Hobbes has informed him of his proper place.
